  • This part of the site lists the local shops, chemists, etc. That you might need to know when camping or visiting/staying in Fleetwood. They are all listed below. More are being added as we find them so keep checking.

    Since 1910 Fleetwood pier has watched vessels leave the port of Fleetwood, Fishing vessels, packet ships, pleasure and cargo vessels, some never to return. It has shared, with the people of the town triumph and disaster, stood a mute witness to the devastation of the deep sea fishing trade and to the rebirth of the inshore fleet.

    Its own history mirrors the history of the town; gutted by fire in August 1952 it was rebuilt when other resorts were closing their piers. Fleetwood Pier with its friendly "Jollies Bar" remains one of the centres of amusements in Fleetwood.

    This market is one of the best known in the North of England and was refurbished in 1990. It will be open from 9:00am on Friday and Saturday of the festival - well worth a visit.
